Winnie is a Partner of PwC China, who has over 22 years of working experience with PwC, 14 years of which was fully dedicated to transfer pricing services. Winnie transferred to the Beijing office of PwC China in 2006 from the Toronto office of PwC Canada, where she started to specialise in transfer pricing. Before this, she had over eight years of China tax and audit experience with PwC Hong Kong and the Shenzhen office of PwC China.
Winnie is reputable for her wide knowledge and working experience in the areas of transfer pricing, Chinese and international tax, as well as financial audit. With enriched professional background and experience, Winnie identifies, grasps and tackles transfer pricing issues with broader perspectives.
Winnie is leading a couple of engagements for the application and negotiation of potential bilateral APAs, and has successfully assisted numerous prominent multinational and domestic Chinese corporations in defending their transfer pricing positions during transfer pricing audit and mutual agreement procedures. Winnie is a seasoned dispute resolution expert, in particular, she has enriched hands-on experience dealing with many popular transfer pricing and general anti-avoidance hot topic issues like thin-capitalisation, equity transfer, intangibles, cost sharing, market premier and location savings.
Winnie also led many other transfer pricing documentation and consulting projects for multinational corporations in the internet and information technology, energy, industrial products, pharmaceutical, automotive, and education industries, etc. Winnie has special focus on the energy, technology, internet / info-tech, and the communication industries, and has established broad client base in these industries based on her industrial experience.
Winnie is a member of the China Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Certified Tax Agent in China, and a Certified General Accountant of Canada.
