Waikay leads the Deals Advisory practice of PwC Mainland China and Hong Kong. PwC Deals is the largest M&A advisory practice locally with over 80 partners, directors and 900 dedicated deal professionals. Our specialists advise clients in over 1,500 transactions each year, supporting them on screening viable target companies, negotiations, pre-deal due diligence (financial, operational, commercial and tax). Valuation assessments, transaction terms, documentation, Day 1 and post deal value creation and taking control. Our deal advisors have in-depth knowledge of industry trends and operations, including:

He has worked on over 250 M&A deals in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Chinese outbound deals in the US, Europe and South-East Asia, Private Equity, SWFs and strategic investors. Waikay is a qualified accountant and received an MBA with distinction from Imperial College Management School in the UK. He participated on the judging panel for the inaugural Private Equity International Award for Operational Excellence in 2012, 2013 and the Asian Venture Capital Journal for 2014, 2015.
