Tracey Liao

Tracey is a partner of PwC Hong Kong and leads PwC’s Transportation and Logistics practice for Mainland China and Hong Kong. Prior to her current role, she served clients as an Assurance Partner at PwC Hong Kong for over 15 years. She is now responsible for coordinating practice strategy and service delivery for companies in the Transportation and Logistics sector in Mainland China and Hong Kong.

Tracey has over 25 years in-depth experience spanning a range of IPOs, M&A and audit engagements, with particular expertise addressing complicated restructuring, as well as financial and tax issues for both private and public enterprises.

Tracey has in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards as well as capital market transactions on IPO, M&A and bond issuance.

The transportation and logistics industry has been disrupted on all fronts and is facing immense change from digital transformation, geopolitical impacts, new market entrants, changing customer expectations and evolving business models. In this rapidly changing context, our role is to co-create solutions in the areas at the top of CEOs’ strategic agendas and to overcome the challenges our clients are facing to build trust and deliver sustained outcomes.

Tracey is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Public Accountants in Australia and Hong Kong Shipowners Association.
