Raymond Poon

Raymond is a partner in PwC's financial services practice in Hong Kong and specialises in both banking and capital markets sector and asset management industry. He has approximately 20 years of professional experience primarily in Hong Kong. Raymond provides both assurance and advisory services to a wide range of financial services clients. During his professional career, Raymond has also worked in London for 2 years. 

Raymond has led a number of bank audit engagements for both locally incorporated banks and the Hong Kong branches of a number of overseas incorporated banks. He has extensive expertise in corporate and retail credit, branch operations, financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Raymond also focuses on the fast growing China fund houses and the international arms of the Mainland financial institutions in Hong Kong. 

Raymond is experienced in statutory and regulatory reporting reviews. Raymond has led different types of regulatory examinations (in particular those special examinations commissioned by the regulators) and other advisory projects on various areas including internal controls over (a) compilation of regulatory reporting, (b) loan lending, (c) new business and product developments and (d) anti-money laundering.
