Philip is a Consulting Partner with PwC Mainland China & Hong Kong. Philip’s primary role is to help address Banking and Capital Markets clients’ needs on operations, finance, regulatory and risk management matters; and help drive success in enterprise-level transformational changes. Philip’s areas of specialty include Recovery and Resolution planning; Business, Capital, Risk and Finance project management as well as Regulatory Advisory covering for rules issued by various regulators in APAC. In recent years, Philip also focuses on driving Financial Services industry-wide digitalization initiatives such as virtual bank set-ups in the region and the digitalization of Mandatory Provident Fund system administrative processes.
Prior to joining PwC, Philip worked at the Risk Analytics department of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and Capital Markets Risk Management at TD Securities in Toronto. Philip graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management degree and a minor in Economics. He is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®).
