Jessie is a partner in Forensic Services in PwC China based in Beijing. She has specialised in forensic accounting since 2009 with experience in a range of fraud investigations, commercial disputes, regulatory enforcement and compliance matters including anti-bribery & corruption, sanctions and anti-trust actions.
Jessie helps clients and their legal advisors to respond to and protect against incidents such as whistle-blower allegations, regulatory inquiries and short-seller reports, etc. By performing forensic accounting analysis and evidence preservation, she brings transparency to company boards, investors and debtors, eliminates information asymmetric between JV partners, local business teams and overseas management, licensing parties and licensees, and answers questions raised by external auditors, independent directors, shareholders and regulators, etc.
Jessie has advised corporations across various industries and financial institutes from Asia, Europe and the U.S. Jessie has experience working for regulators and government bodies in China and is familiar with their expectations for professional advisors.
Jessie has thorough understanding of the local market and culture, as well as underlying risks associated with typical business models in China. She is consulted by local industry associations for insights in anti-unfair competition compliance monitoring and risk management. Jessie is a member of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and Association Of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
