Associate Director, PwC Hong Kong

Clinton is an Associate Director at PwC in HK, specialising in responsible investment and deals advisory. He advises on ESG strategy, investment framework development, and implementation for a variety of PwC's top alternative investment clients across Asia, with a particular focus on private equity, venture capital, private debt, fund of funds, and distressed investors. Additionally, he is the founder and product lead of PwC's Responsible Investment Toolkit and Analytics.

His expertise in M&A transactions and Deals Advisory includes operational, ESG, and carve-out due diligence, as well as synergy assessment, TSA development, post-deal integration, and separation. This extensive experience gives him unique insights into strategic considerations for responsible investment and sustainable value creation throughout the investment lifecycle.

Furthermore, his collaboration with different teams within various PEVC firms enables him to offer advisory services at multiple levels, including the overall firm level, specific fund levels, and individual deal levels.

Prior to joining PwC Deals Advisory, he spent four years with PwC's Assurance practice, leading financial audits and providing advisory services for reverse takeovers and sustainability audits of listed companies, state-owned enterprises, and conglomerates.

Clinton holds a joint degree in Engineering with Business Finance from University College London (UCL) and the London School of Economics (LSE). He is a member of the HKICPA, CESGA, and actively participates as a working group member of the Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA).
