Ann Kwok

Ann Kwok is the partner and leader of PwC Tax Technology practice in Mainland China and Hong Kong and is also a member of PwC Global Tax Technology Council. She has over 20 years of experience in areas of tax and tax technology in the US, where she started her career and is now based in Mainland China and Hong Kong.

Under Ann’s leadership, she established the Tax Technology team and is also the founding partner of our proprietary Total Tax Management Platform, providing services for China (including Hong Kong) and overseas regions. Her vision utilises best in class and agile technology to provide enterprises with comprehensive, high performing and flexible tax innovative solution, improving tax governance to meet today’s challenges and become sustainable for the future.

• Formulated global tax technology strategy to help clients fulfil tax function transformation
• Led the development and launch of our tax technology solutions (including SaaS), covering total tax management, tax compliance automation, tax risk analytics and governance, provision of business intelligence for tax planning and forecasting etc.
• Led the tax digital transformation for many leading SOE, POE and MNC helping clients across various industries including technology, telecommunications, financial services, retail and consumer, manufacturing, automotive, new energy vehicle, pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, logistics, agriculture, photovoltaic, aviation etc.
• Led the tax IT consultation and system implementation projects for government and local tax authority in Mainland China and Hong Kong

Ann received her CPA license from the State of California, Master of Business Taxation from University of Southern California, and Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from California State University, Northridge in the US.
