Amidst growing uncertainty in the global economy and international tax environment, many multinationals are encountering more severe tax audits and disputes with local authorities. More than before, multinational groups will need to formulate effective tax risk management and dispute resolution strategies.
In this one-hour webcast, we discussed the recent policy / legislative developments in relation to dispute resolution. We also shared our deep knowledge of dispute resolution experience from a regional (Singapore) as well as emerging market (Indonesia) perspectives. This session focused on sharing our strong experience in assisting multinationals with the entire tax controversy life cycle – from strategizing to executing, and managing the end-to-end dispute resolution process.
Nicole Fung, PwC Singapore's Corporate Tax Advisory and Transfer Pricing Leader shared her broad experience from a regional perspective. Sui Fun Chai, PwC Singapore's Transfer Pricing Partner shared her thoughts based on her previous experience with Singapore's tax authorities. Furthermore, Ay Tjhing Phan, PwC Indonesia's Transfer Pricing Leader also shared on-the-ground perspectives from an emerging country's perspective.
