Suzanne Wat is a tax partner in the Technology, Info-Comms and Entertainment (TICE) practice in Hong Kong. She joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1992.
Her principal focus is on the telecommunications and media industries. On telecommunications, she specialises in assisting operators with devising tax efficient structures for their international operations and implementing business model transformations, often working with telecom specialists in the Advisory practice of the firm. This has included leading and coordinating regional tax assignments involving Mainland China, Singapore, Korea, Japan, the Philippines and India. She has also worked on a number of high profile telecoms-related merger and acquisition transactions.
She is currently PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong's Info-Comms tax leader. She also leads the Tax Management Accounting Services (TMAS) practice in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region.
Suzanne's media clients are mainly in the publishing and content provision sectors. She advises them on regional investment structures and structuring of intellectual property ownership and licensing arrangements. |
