A newsletter for the China banking community
Our 3rd edition of the Banking Newsletter for the China banking community summarises the findings from its in-depth interviews with 62 investors and analysts predominantly in banking and insurance from the leading capital markets of US, Europe and Asia Pacific to gain their perspectives on the accounting for financial instruments. The goal was to capture and present views held by a variety of investment professionals while we sought to understand their practical perspectives and how they use financial instrument accounting and how reporting can be improved.
This newsletter also summarises the IASB and FASB joint statement on 24 June 2010 in which they acknowledged that projects would have to be prioritised and that some would not be completed by mid-2011 as previously planned.
